(Under Accreditation – MFHEA)

Advanced Artificial Intelligence (Proposed Specialisation)

The Advanced Artificial Intelligence specialisation provides learners with a deep and practical understanding of modern AI technologies. The focus is on advanced machine learning and neural network methods that are widely used today in automation, data-driven decision-making, predictive modelling and intelligent software applications.

Learners explore how AI systems are designed, trained and evaluated, how data influences model behaviour, and how intelligent solutions can be integrated into operational environments. The specialisation places strong emphasis on hands-on practice using contemporary AI tools and frameworks, enabling students to build functional AI components, solve applied problems and understand the opportunities and risks associated with AI adoption.

Students also gain insight into ethical and responsible AI development, including issues such as model transparency, bias mitigation, fairness, data protection, and the societal impact of advanced algorithms. By understanding the technical and ethical dimensions of AI, learners will be able to support organisations in implementing secure, appropriate and high-quality AI solutions.

All information is currently proposed and subject to MFHEA approval.
